1. Introduction
Welcome to our International Summer School, hosted by ENGLISH YES YOU CAN at the University of Stirling in Scotland. By enrolling in our programs, you and your child agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. It is important that you read and fully understand our policies before participating in the program.
2. Student Behavior
2.1. Acceptable Behavior:
All students are expected to behave respectfully, courteously, and responsibly during their time in the program. Students should:

Respect their peers, instructors, and all staff members.

Follow the rules and regulations of the University of Stirling and the International Summer School.

Actively participate in all activities and adhere to established schedules.
2.2. Unacceptable Behavior:
The following behaviors are considered inappropriate:

Verbal or physical aggression toward other students, instructors, or staff.

Destruction of property.

Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances during the program.

Disruptive behavior that interrupts the normal flow of the program.
2.3. Consequences for Unacceptable Behavior:
In the event of inappropriate behavior, the student will be given a warning, and in severe cases, they may be expelled from the program without refund. The decision to expel a student will be made by the ENGLISH YES YOU CAN team, based on the severity of the infraction.
3. Damage to University Property
3.1. Student Responsibility:
Students are responsible for taking care of all university facilities, materials, and equipment provided during the program. Any damage, theft, or loss caused by a student will be considered the student's responsibility.
3.2. Repair or Compensation:
In the event of damage or loss of property, the student or their parents/guardians will be required to compensate for the cost of repair or replacement. This includes damage to rooms, sports facilities, classrooms, and any other spaces used during the program.
4. Liability and Limitation of Liability
4.1. Our Liability:
ENGLISH YES YOU CAN is committed to providing a safe and enriching environment for all students during the program. However, we are not liable for events outside of our control, including:

Injuries or illnesses that occur during participation in activities.

Loss of personal belongings.

Delays or cancellations of flights or transportation.
4.2. Insurance:
It is recommended that all students have appropriate travel insurance that covers illness, accidents, and loss of personal belongings during their stay in the program. The school is not responsible for any incidents occurring outside the scope of the program or due to lack of adequate insurance.
5. Parental Responsibility: Passports, Visas, and Documentation
5.1. Passports and Visas:
It is the sole responsibility of the parents/guardians to ensure that the student has a valid passport and any necessary visas for traveling and participating in the program. ENGLISH YES YOU CAN is not responsible for any travel documentation issues or problems arising from not having the appropriate documents.
5.2. Document Verification:
Parents/guardians are advised to verify the validity of the student's travel documents before departure to avoid any issues with immigration or local authorities.
6. Refund Policy
6.1. Deposits:
All deposits paid to secure a place in the program are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or withdrawal.
6.2. Cancellations:
If the student cancels their enrollment:

More than 30 days before the program start date, a 50% refund of the total program fee (minus the non-refundable deposit) will be issued.

Less than 30 days before the program start date, no refund will be provided.
6.3. Force Majeure:
In the event of program cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or political unrest), a partial refund or credit for future programs may be offered, but no full refund will be guaranteed.
6.4. Student Absence:
If a student is unable to attend the program due to personal reasons (illness, change of plans, etc.), the program fee will not be refunded. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover such eventualities.
7. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By enrolling in the ENGLISH YES YOU CAN International Summer School at the University of Stirling in Scotland, you (the parent/guardian) and the student agree to all the terms and conditions set forth herein. It is understood that the student commits to following the behavior rules and taking responsibility for their actions while participating in the program.
